Miami’s Art Basel is right around the corner. The week-long event has long drawn crowds of ostentatious affluents and art aficionados flocking to the Magic City’s sunny shores from all over the world to rub elbows over top-shelf spirit-guided viewings of fine fashion, digital entertainment, and art exhibitions — complete with avant-garde fruit tacked to walls. Since COVID-19’s catalyzation of Miami as the crypto-capital of the world, these seven days of artsy extravaganza — commonly referred to as Art Week — have developed into a meeting ground for blockchain professionals from all over the world to connect, exchange ideas, and advance the Web3 space.
This year, Art Week will start off with a spotlight and celebration of the women (and their allies) blazing trails in Web3. The inaugural Women Web3 Miami Summit will merge the dynamism of Miami Art Week with the innovation of Web3 technologies into a two-day educational and artistically driven event dedicated to making the industry more accessible.

The Art of a Women Web3 Summit
Featuring a diverse group of blockchain-related speakers and initiatives, the women-led summit is a pioneering educational experience. Attendees will be immersed in a two-floor, three-stage Web3 mecca, including spaces to learn and connect with an international crowd, opportunities to explore top Web3 brands, high-tech fine-art galleries, and live music zones.
More than 150 industry leaders and educators will take the stage in lectures, panel discussions, and educational workshops to break down topics like staying safe in Web3, the honest side of blockchain technologies, and why adoption is necessary. Each session is designed to facilitate beginner and moderate learning and discussion around Web3 technologies. Defi-guru Ben “BitBoyCrypto” Armstrong, Senior Vice President of Unstoppable Domains, Sandy Carter, leading blockchain developer Scarlett Arana, and Breaking Bad Actor turned NFT expert Daniel Moncada will be a part of the conversations.
Along with highlighting industry innovations and covering crucial topics for those entering the space, the summit will showcase the growth of Web3’s dynamic communities and culture. During the two days, attendees can take a break from the conversations to enjoy fine phygital art and live music from local Miami talent. Adding to the community-wide initiative, the event is also set to host a Web3 Pitch Contest. Entrepreneurs and founders building businesses and products using Web3 technologies are eligible to participate for a chance to win a “combination package of prices to support their pitch presentation.”
